In Good Company

Fine art exhibition and book

At a time when South Africans need optimism about the future more than anything, a new collection of visual art celebrating our culture of greatness provided exactly that. In Good Company, by local artist Marc-Gregory, featured 32 prolific South Africans who have achieved extraordinary greatness, was brought to life in a magnificent coffee table book and a life sized exhibition at Sandton City, the country’s most prestigious retail destination.

The collection comprised over 100 art pieces inspiring hope, strength and courage for South Africans with visual art that is powerful and visceral. Personalities that featured included Ayanda Thabethe, Pearl Thusi, J’Something, Gert-Johan Coetzee, Maps Maponyane, Minnie Dlamini-Jones, Master KG, Thapelo Mokoena, Siba Mtongana, Catherine Constantinides and others. The book opened with a foreword by Prof. Thuli Madonsela who also features in the fine art collection.

Jenny Griesel authored the words for the book in her personal capacity, while Jenny Griesel Communications managed the 360-degree PR campaign for the book and the exhibition, which included a launch event, multiple broadcast, online & print media features and an extended PR tour.

The In Good Company exhibition won 2 awards in the recent Footprints Awards hosted by the South African Council of Shopping Centres:
